KYT Skyhawk Glowing Blue Orange Fluo Helmet
Skyhawk is KYT’s latest generation off-road helmet, made of TRI-fiber composite and featuring dynamic and performing shapes. It was developed and optimised on the most famous MX World Championship tracks. The performance has been improved to meet the needs of the most demanding rider and motorcyclist. Extensive research and testing on the track with the best riders resulted in protection, ergonomics, weight, and ventilation.
Main Features
Weight: 1100±50 grams
Strap: The retention system used is the ”D-RING” in light alloy.
Padding:
Inner liner and cheek pads are removable, washable, and replaceable. They are in precious bielastic fabric with specific fibers that offer the following characteristics:
- Rapid flow of moisture from the water
- Maintaining optimal temperature
- Light, soft and breathable fabric
Ventilation:
The air intakes are intended to improve internal comfort by channelling air into the inner shell through four large front openings protected by solid metal meshes. Internal polystyrene protection and comfort liners have been designed to work in tandem with the large air intakes.
Bluetooth Compatible: No
Shell Construction:
The shell is made of TRI-fiber composite, which allows for a lighter but more protective shell. The outer shell is made of tricarboco fibre, a combination of kevlar, carbon, and fibreglass with different weights/breaking loads linked together; loads linked together with aramid resins ensures a lighter, harder, more safe, and impact resistant shell. SKY HAWK is available in two shell sizes to accommodate even the most demanding and professional riders: M and L.
Peak: The peak has an elongated, protective profile and can be adjusted to a variety of positions without the use of tools. Metal screws have been used.
Certification: ECE, JIS, CCC, NBR, CHASS, CNS, DOT
Other Features:
Internal polystyrene is available in two sizes (M and L) to achieve the best ergonomics with varying thickness. This property allows for the gradual and progressive absorption of an impact’s impact force. Although the outer protective shell absorbs the majority of the energy from an impact due to deformation, the role of polystyrene in residual energy absorption is critical.
