R&G Aero Bobbins are a stylish, aerodynamic, teardrop shaped bobbin. Utilising existing engine mounts to install R&G crash protectors, Constructed of heavy-duty machined steel, aluminum and high-density nylon, they offer essential protection to the bike frame, engine and radiator keeping them raised up and away from the tarmac in the event of a crash or drop. This kit requires NO modification to the fairing bodywork to install. Fitted with a removable end cap which hides the bobbins fittings, this sleek new design looks superb and is a winner on road and track!
The slider itself is machined from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). HDPE was chosen for its high-friction qualities, as the slider wears down it actually helps to slow a sliding bike. The bolts are made of de-embrittled steel which work as shock absorbers, they bend instead of snapping, helping to reduce the chance of damaging the mounting points and thus damaging your motorcycle.
